Tiwa Savage Petitions Lagos Police Commissioner, Holds Davido Responsible for Threats

Afrobeats sensation Tiwa Savage has filed a petition against Davido, accusing him of threatening assault and grievous bodily harm. In a petition addressed to the Lagos Commissioner of Police, Tiwa Savage detailed the alleged threats made by Davido, including a direct threat to her life, privacy, and dignity.

In the petition, Tiwa Savage explained an Instagram post made on December 23, which involved her and Sophia Momodu. According to the petition, Davido responded with disrespectful and derogatory messages, warning Tiwa Savage to be careful in Lagos as he intended to "f**k [her] up." Tiwa Savage highlighted the potential online and offline harassment and emphasized that Davido's actions contravene constitutional rights and Cybercrime laws.

 "I, therefore, would like to make this complaint and to state that in the event that anything untoward or harmful were to happen to me or any member of my family, I will like the members of the Nigeria Police Force to hold Mr David Adeleke responsible."

Tiwa Savage expressed her willingness to provide additional information or answer any questions related to the matter. The petition sheds light on the ongoing tensions between the two artists and raises concerns about the potential impact on Tiwa Savage's safety and well-being.
