Ex-Minister Sadiya Umar-Farouq Arrives at EFCC for N585.18m Investigation

Former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development, Sadiya Umar-Farouq, has arrived at the headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to provide clarifications regarding her tenure. The EFCC is conducting an investigation into alleged money laundering exceeding N30 billion in agencies supervised by her ministry during the Muhammadu Buhari administration.

Umar-Farouq expressed her readiness to defend her actions, stewardship, and programs during her tenure and pledged to cooperate with the Commission's inquiries.
