The State Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State has officially suspended Mr. Fatai Adams, the state chairman, citing his alleged involvement in anti-party activities that violate the party's rules and regulations. The decision, in accordance with section 58(1b, c, f, h, and i) of the PDP Constitution as amended in 2017, was communicated through a statement signed by nine members of the committee.
The statement emphasized that Adams is suspended for engaging in activities deemed detrimental to the party's reputation and advised him to appear before the State Disciplinary Committee within the next week for further inquiries. The PDP asserted its commitment to decisively address any incursion by the ruling party, the APC, into its ranks.
