In a sudden and alarming incident, residents of Ibadan, Oyo State, were gripped with fear as tremors rattled major parts of the city on Tuesday evening. The unsettling episode occurred just minutes before 8 pm, causing panic and anxiety among the populace.

Reports indicate that the tremor was particularly intense around the School of Nursing and the University College Hospital, resulting in shattered windows in the vicinity. Communities such as Ologuneru, Owalla, Isokan, Ekerin, Eleyele, and parts of Apete also reported feeling the ground shake.
